This tour offers everything you came to Alaska to see!

Take a scenic deluxe van tour along picturesque Turnagain Arm, enjoy a one hour cruise at Alaska's second most visited attraction, the Portage Glacier. Re-board your deluxe van and visit the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center to see Bear, Moose, Bison, Elk, Coyote, Eagles and many other species of Alaska's wildlife up close. On your return back to Anchorage you will enjoy opportunities to take several photo stops. This tour also offers several chances where you can purchase your own snack and beverages to enjoy along the way.

 Turnagain Arm Tour


Board your shuttle for the guided drive along spectacular Turnagain Arm. From beginning to end there are dramatic views of mountain scenery and the inlet. There's a good chance of viewing Dahl sheep, as well as some chance of seeing some of Cook Inlet's 350 beluga whales and an eagle or two.

Watch the Bears frolic and play and Coyotes peer out from behind the brush while a bald eagle swoops in on the salmon remains left by a grizzly bear. Wood Bison plod through 65 acres of tidal flat terrain and deer, elk and caribou roam the natural environment.

AWCC takes in injured and orphaned animals year-round and provides spacious enclosures and quality animal care. Animals that cannot be released into the wild are given a permanent home at the center.
