 Turnagain Arm Tour


Board your shuttle for the guided drive along spectacular Turnagain Arm. From beginning to end there are dramatic views of mountain scenery and the inlet. There's a good chance of viewing Dahl sheep, as well as some chance of seeing some of Cook Inlet's 350 beluga whales and an eagle or two.

Watch the Bears frolic and play and Coyotes peer out from behind the brush while a bald eagle swoops in on the salmon remains left by a grizzly bear. Wood Bison plod through 65 acres of tidal flat terrain and deer, elk and caribou roam the natural environment.

Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center (AWCC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving Alaska's wildlife through public education. AWCC takes in injured and orphaned animals year-round and provides spacious enclosures and quality animal care. Animals that cannot be released into the wild are given a permanent home at the center.
